Well, I'll try to keep this brief.
Last night, a few people had said that their base was /removed by someone. Okay, happens all the time. You didn't remove the person from sharing your location onthe Rust.IO map. Same as always.
...except not
I looked into it further, and someone actually joined the server with auth level 2 that is NOT on the admin list. I confirmed this by seeing if the text 'addedowner blahblah' ever appeared in the logs, and it did not. I have 3 admins in total, myself included, and I have logs of all of their IP addresses and Steam IDs. It wasnone of them.
I am the only person with RCON access and access to the dedicated machine. I'm almost positive it has to be some sort of exploit because even if an admin addedthemselves as an owner on another account, it would show up on the users.cfg file like the other admin SteamIDs.
This is very alarming. Is this a new development? This could potentially wreck servers if true.
